Two weeks ago the Pope came to town, which shut down large portions of our beloved city.  The high school that our sending church usually meets in for our Sunday services became a headquarters for the police department for the weekend, so the pastors decided that the entire congregation would meet in our small groups on Sunday morning instead of all together.  Our small group is our church plant group, so we met on Sunday in my living room and had our service.  It marked the first time we sang together and had communion together as a group.  We followed the service with a meal and then watched an Eagles game together (the only game they’ve won this year!!).  One of the passages we looked at that morning was from Acts 2:46-47:And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”   Please join us in praying that as we continue to meet together with glad hearts to praise God, study His word, and eat together that God would give us favor with the people of Frankford and that “day by day” more and more of our neighbors will be saved.
